Kittenz is a performance and dancing space in Second Life with a focus on musicians and singers who perform live from different parts of the world using live streaming technology.
At Second Life, people interact in the form of avatars, and there is a vibrant live music scene with high quality performers. People can perform from home, people can enjoy them from home, and people can engage with the performers and request songs.
Some clubs at Second Life have existed for a long time, sometimes moving to different locations over time as Real Life clubs do. Sweetdebbie was invited by her dear friend Astrid to hear live music at Kittenz Kreationz in early 2014. She learned that live music and friends had been going on there for a long time...maybe 10 years. At some point, the club and shows had to move, and Astrid and friends built the present club on land that Sweetdebbie owned.
A continuous thread at Kittenz from the early 2000’s has been MrMulti (Michael Wells) on Saturday nights. There are other shows at Second Life that have been continuous for more than 20 years, but not many.
